Soft Iron Forging
We use an integrated manufacturing method of soft iron forging by which we generate the face, body, and hosel from a single round bar of metal. It produces a soft iron forged wedge that is integrated from hosel to head.
The forging flow line, the same as the metal particle flow, doesn’t break from hosel to face. By using this integral type forging method the metal particles become much more dense. Thereby, we can create greatness and flexibility of the hitting feel. We improved hitting feel and produced a high-quality wedge with a very consistent quality that cannot be achieved using other methods.
Spinning performance is improved by 20％ with face milling processing and score line sculpture.
We carved the score lines on the face surface that was made extremely smooth by CNC mechanical processing, not stamping as other producers. In addition spinning performance was improved with having a sharp angled edge on the score lines. The spinning improved by 20% and the stability of spinning performance improved as well.
We use carefully selected S25C iron material. Among the normal soft iron material S25C, we use only carefully selected material having a carbon content of 0.24-0.26%. By using material with a stable carbon content ratio, the stretchiness of the iron becomes stabilized in the forging process, so that we can supply the products with minimized dispersion in weight.
We designed the teardrop-shaped face with high operability by responding to professional golfer’s requests.
The teardrop shape was adopted as it is easy to hold even with an open club face.
A round shaped sole with loft angle of 52° supports a full shot.
A crescent-shaped sole with loft angle 58° supports a shot even with an open club face.
With this professional golf club, you can positively aim for the pin in severe tournament conditions.
